Probable Side Effects
Alongside its remedies, Azithromycin is known to cause many serious side effects. Doctors should be notified immediately if patients see signs of swelling, redness or pain around the area that received injection; the treatment should also be stopped until proper advice from doctors is received.

Apart from all the known cases, Zithromax is also known to cause harsh reactions in rare cases. Individuals undergoing treatment are recommended to stop taking the drug and immediately notify the concerning doctor. Patients should inform their doctors if they observe severe reactions in abdominal tenderness that include watery or bloody diarrhoea along with fever and joint pains.
